ACHN Background
ACHN is a volunteer based, non-profit committed to providing patient centered healthcare to uninsured, low-income families. Based in Northern Virginia, ACHN represents the 1st Muslim organized initiative that seeks to provide comprehensive healthcare needs of all qualifying low-income families including those who are not Virginia residents. Although organized by Muslims, ACHN is a multi-faith / language based healthcare network with volunteers and patients from different religious and cultural backgrounds. ACHN is an independent pending 501c(3) organization with a 12-member Board.
ACHN Providers, which include over 40 doctors, are some of the most highly skilled and experienced in the Northern Virginia area. In addition to primary care, ACHN serves a range of sub-specialties from cardiology to ophthalmology to ob/gyn.
Since opening our doors in November 2013, ACHN has already made a positive impact in the community, which include:
- Volunteers: +200 Volunteers with more than 1,200 community service hours
- Patients: 180 Actively Enrolled Patients with over 540 visits
- Community Impact: Provided over $100,000 in Health Care value at minimal cost to patients. Please note, If it is feasible for the patient to pay some amount we ask them to pay up to a maximum of a $15Co-Pay.
