Volunteers are our greatest resource! We rely on many volunteers who support all aspects of our organization. Many of them have worked with us since its inception. They share our vision of helping others and making a difference in communities that need it most.
ACHN welcomes volunteers from all professional backgrounds, from students to experienced health professionals. We offer a multitude of volunteer opportunities including:
- Medical positions include doctors, nurse practitioners, physician assitants, physical therapists, optometrists, registered nurses, phlebotomists, and others
- Non-medical positions include receptionists, interpreters, administrative assistants, web developers, branding experts, etc
What we look for
We look for a minimum of 3 month commitment and 10-15 hours of service per week. All applicants must be 18 years of age and a high-school graduate or equivalent.
Once accepted, all volunteers must undergo HIPAA compliance training. Volunteers interacting with patients must also provide their immunization record.
We need volunteers on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday (9am to 3:30pm) and Saturday 9am to 12:30pm
